Hehe...

So it has been a reeeeeeeeeallly long time and part of that is due to several things:

1.  I'm silly and forgot I had this blog, and then created a livejournal blog for my art stuffs and then rediscovered this one!  I have hence decided to make this my personal blog about personal stuffs [but not too graphic, there are children in the audience!]

2.  I graduated school [as of May 2008] and have since then been thrust out into the cruel world to fend for myself in a cold pitiless world of corporate zombies and fanatical anarchists!!!  Umm...yeah that was a tad melodramatic, I apologize.  But it is true that I have been very busy trying to mold a career for myself with growing success [more about that in another entry!]

3.  Damn...I forgot what the third reason is...silly llamas distracted me...I'll get back to you on that!

But the important thing is I'm BACK!! And I will probably be updating this rather frequently seeing as how I now have internet at my house, no homework to contend with, and rather frequent bouts of insomnia-and rather than do something productively creative I'd rather putz around on the Internets!!! WOOT!!

I still may post random art stuffs, writing stuffs and random random stuffs, but I actually have separate blogs for all of that!

http://tofu-toast.livejournal.com  My Official ART Blog!

http://ophelia-crane.livejournal.com  My Official WRITING Blog! [and other assorted weirdness!]

http://steamgeartavern.livejournal.com My Writing Group Blog Turned Upcoming Epistolary Novelization of 'The True History of Henry Rayne and the Airship Pirates' per Smooty's request Blog!

http://wicked-lamppost.blogspot.com  My Random Writing Project That I Forgot the Password To, But Never Fear Will Resurrect Soon Blog!

There's also http://widgetambolia.deviantart.com  Which is my ART Site!

I am working on a schedule of updates so that I can update all these things with semi-frequency!  More to come later!!! Ciao!

Random Photoshopping-ness

Yay for new ID's!!! These are three random Photoshop doodles, that are now my ID pictures for Facebook, Deviant Art, and something else....oh well! Here they are!

Artist Trading Cards!

So this is my first Huuuuuuuuuuuuge batch of ATC's. These were made as part of opening night gifts for the cast and crew of Metamorphoses. They were a big hit and fun to make! I liked them so much that I have joined and ATC yahoogroup so that I may continue to make these and share them!

My favorites are Phaeton, Pandora, and Baucis.

New ART!!!!

Yay! I am excited, that somehow amidst the craziness of upcoming finals I have managed to create a small yet fun piece of art! It was for Illustration Friday's subject of 'polar' so of course I went to my favorite arctic animal. Yes I know, one day I will stop drawing penguins!

This was actually just a fun little play with texture. It is a layer of acrylic paint, pen, and colored pencil. I rather like how the pencil over the textured paint came out. It almost has a transparent look to it.

Hopefully as finals finish up and I get my scenic design for Emperor's New Clothes put together I will be able to do more with Illustration Friday but for now! Enjoy!

Bookmarks!

Yay for bookmarks! I've been churnin' 'em out like a fool!

That, and my scenic design, are about all I've been working on these days. It's ok, the bookmarks give me something to do in Theatre History!

More to come later, once I get my but in gear and do something major! ^__

Ciao!

More Quibbles!!!

Weee for more quibbles!! This is a blue Quibble, who needs a name, that I doodled for my great and wonderfully artistic friend, Serena-chan! He's also on a bookmark because I found a store that will sell my artwork on consignment!

I'm starting small with bookmarks because a] she said she needed stuff like that and b] I can doodle stuff like that in class pretty inconspicously. After that I'm going to work into giftcard sets and journals and whatnot and perhaps even pieces of artwork!

I'm very excited because even though its a small store it's getting my name and product out there which is the first good step in starting a business around your artwork!

I'll be sharing more designs and stuff as I get them together.

ciao!

Well, here's another APO Cabaret poster. They are tons of fun to work on, because I can be a little goofy. So here it is!
