Yay! I am excited, that somehow amidst the craziness of upcoming finals I have managed to create a small yet fun piece of art! It was for Illustration Friday's subject of 'polar' so of course I went to my favorite arctic animal. Yes I know, one day I will stop drawing penguins! This was actually just a fun little play with texture. It is a layer of acrylic paint, pen, and colored pencil. I rather like how the pencil over the textured paint came out. It almost has a transparent look to it.
Hopefully as finals finish up and I get my scenic design for Emperor's New Clothes put together I will be able to do more with Illustration Friday but for now! Enjoy!
